Designed for amateur radio operators, the XL kit delivers a weather-tight, no-drill antenna entry point while accommodating extra-wide openings without permanent modifications to your home or shack.
Built entirely in the USA from precision-machined, UV-resistant marine-grade HDPE, the WindowWing XL is engineered to resist rot, warping, splitting, and moisture absorption common to makeshift wood inserts. Designed for large windows and sliding glass doors, each XL wing accommodates spans up to 3 feet 6 inches. Combined with a MiniPatch panel, the system fits frame openings up to 78 inches wide, or up to 75 inches wide when paired with a MicroPatch panel.
Every kit is engineered for weather protection and structural stability. Included laser-cut closed-cell foam gaskets help seal out wind, rain, dust, and outdoor temperature extremes. The system features 100% stainless steel threaded hardware and includes anti-seize compound to prevent thread galling, ensuring years of smooth adjustment and reliable service.
The modular design allows the MiniPatch or MicroPatch panel to be quickly disconnected from the wing extensions whenever your station needs to be relocated, upgraded, or reconfigured. Ideal for homeowners, renters, HOA-restricted properties, Field Day deployments, and temporary installations, the system provides a practical antenna feed-through solution where drilling through walls, doors, or window frames is not an option.
