DX Engineering Feedpoint Wire and Connector Assemblies
DX Engineering Feedpoint Wire and Connector Assemblies provide a new and unique method of feeding an antenna radiating element.
A ring terminal with a 1/4 in. hole is crimped and soldered to a 12 in. long insulated 14 AWG stranded copper wire, complete with weather-protective heat shrink tubing. Then, these feed point wires are terminated to the center pin of an N-type male or UHF male PL-259 with special insulating sleeves and weather-sealing heat shrink.
These assemblies are intended to be used with a double female bulkhead connector, mounted into the Radial Plate, for use on an HF vertical antenna, for example.
This wire and connector combination allows for the complete weather sealing of a single wire feed point, while properly terminating the feedline shield to the radial system or ground point of the antenna system.
Especially useful for phased vertical installations, the DX Engineering Feedpoint Wire and Connector Assemblies are ready for your special antenna projects!
