DX Commander DX10 Antenna Wire Spools provides enough wire to replace the elements on DX Commander antenna models while still having enough wire left over to make several radials. Made in England for DX Commander, DX10 wire has an outstanding reputation for both strength and in particular, extreme flexibility. The insulation is "arctic grade" and still flexible down to -40° F. Originally designed for military use, this insulation is particularly strong but highly flexible and the stranded annealed copper wire is approximately equivalent to 19 AWG and is made from 24 strands of 0.008 in. (0.2mm) wire.

DX Engineering Utility Enclosure Kits
DX Engineering Utility Enclosure Kits are ideal for the outdoor mounting of many types of lightning protectors or other equipment. This enclosure and grounding plate kit accommodates coaxial protectors with a flange mount or bracket so connectors are parallel with the grounding plate. (Bulkhead protectors that mount the connector through a grounding panel cannot be used.) DX Engineering DXE-UE-2P Utility Enclosure kits are manufactured from weather-resistant, high-impact thermoplastic material that protects the inside components against rain and directed water spray. The housing and wire entrance grommet materials used in the enclosure are fire-retardant and UV-stabilized and resist degradation from weathering, environmental contaminants, chemical fertilizers, and insecticide sprays. The exterior of the housing may be painted with latex or oil base paints if needed to help blend into the location. Because these kits have many potential applications, no holes have been drilled in the enclosure. However, mounting holes have been pre-drilled in the aluminum mounting plate. Four of the six sheet metal screws are included to secure the mounting plate to the enclosure; the other two sheet metal screws are for mounting the copper strap clamp to the mounting plate. Watertight feedthrough couplers mount to the top of the enclosure; drilling or cutting with a hole saw is required. Eleven port openings exist in the bottom--two are large for conduit coaxial entry/exit, and nine are smaller for coaxial cable, rotor cable, Telco lines, and more. All openings are sealed by a weathertight foam insert. NOTE: The DXE-UE-2P accommodates coaxial protectors that have a Flange Mount bracket, or those that work with an accessory bracket, to mount the connectors parallel with the grounding plate. DX Engineering Cam Lock Clamp Kits
DX Engineering Cam Lock Clamp Kits provide fast and easy operation of portable telescopic non-metallic masts. Four kits of multiple clamps are offered which cover ten sizes of Cam Lock Clamps for a comprehensive selection. These mast clamps are the type that permanently mount on the lower tube and allow fast telescopic mast extension and collapsing using the integral Cam Lock Lever that secures the smaller inside tube. Each clamp has a number stamped on it, which helps to identify the Cam Lock Clamp. Each Cam Lock Clamp kit includes a 3mm Allen wrench that fits all three cap screws, two for the lower tube mounting clamp and one on the upper Lever adjustment. Alpha Delta UHF Connector Coaxial Cable Surge Protectors have SO-239 connectors and are rated for 200 or 2,000 watts at frequencies up to 500 MHz. They are not DC-blocked, so they will pass control voltages in applications requiring the coaxial cable to carry both RF and DC voltage. They may be easily mounted for the most effective grounding with a 1/4-20 bolt or stud (depending on model) in a single hole or as a bulkhead-mount through the grounding panel. In a study under the auspices of the U.S. Dept. of Energy, utilizing the satellite FORTE launched in 1997 carrying VHF lightning discharge sensors, it was determined that there can be damaging lightning energy emissions throughout the 30 through 300 MHz VHF spectrum. Before FORTE, it was thought that most lightning energy emissions were primarily in the VLF range. Therefore, the damage threat can be anywhere from VLF through VHF.
